Jack Violet

On this blog you will find posts on various topics relating to sex work, trans and queer identity, and the intersection of the two. All of these articles are from my perspective as someone who has been selling sex since I was 17 years old, from trading sex directly for resources to working in brothels to selling sex from my own flat. After several years in the industry, I decided to start advocating for myself and other sex workers, given how our rights seem to be constantly under attack.

My writing here is likely to contain mentions of things like: underage sex work, sexual assault, transphobia and homophobia, poverty, eating disorders, physical violence, and sometimes graphic descriptions of sex acts. I do not censor myself or shy away from the realities of selling sex here, the bad parts as well as the good. Sex workers often face abuse, which is why we so sorely need the full decriminalization of our work and therefore the ability to access our rights as workers.

Check out my current project, Working Guys: A Transmasculine Sex Worker Anthology, which just launched! The intention is for this anthology to serve as a snapshot of a broad range of transmasculine experiences selling sex and porn and other sexual services.

About Me:

I’m Jack Parker (he/they). I’m a lot of things, but one of them is a sex worker. During a lot of my time talking about sex work, it was client-facing. This isn’t, so I can be completely honest about my experiences.
